Someone gave me a tenner a coule of days ago and the job is only £11. That's easily the best one I've had. It's been a very poor year for tips - probably in part because I try to keep the service a bit more businesslike now.
I have also been given a bottle of wine and a box of chocolate licquors and I don't even drink. I guess that bottle will end up gracing my friend's Christmas lunch table.

My best tip was £20 ;D from a old diddy the other day, i only charge her £8 to do the windows.
I said that was too much and tried giving half back but she refused.

You can sometimes offend the OAP by trying to give some back or refusing it, but you did right, its what I do.
My best tip is £50 every year, but it is my daughters in-laws and they are both solicitors and minted, and I never say to them its to much ;D
