Today I seen an ad for self cleaning glass whats this all about  :opilkington activ
what opinion has the group on this does it work :-/ is this bad news for our trade or just a flash in the pan

Yeah lol.

I imagine an little man coming out of the glass with a sqeegee cleaning it when some bird craps on it. Makes me laugh every time i read about it.

I  clean a large house in St Georges Hills, they just paid 30 k  just on the glass roof of their new conservatory, self cleaning glass, its only been up for three months ,and she has already asked me to clean it. :D

We clean an office for f1 team that has scg no such thing will be cleaned forever and ever

Hi All
Your right, scg dont sc bird muck of finger marks. I only have 2 houses with it. Its hard to clean as the "squeege off" dont seem to wet the glass and the squeege leaves a lot more detail work to finish off.

yeah have you seen the price,adds 00000 to the price of building new premises,my mate  asked me about it being a window cleaner,him being a designer of buildings i thought it rather funny cus he had never heard of it thought someone was having a laff he was dead impressed with my knowledge about it
