Eagle Star/ Fortis
Cost me 850 for 2 workers and me (Ltd Co). I pay £74 per month. Ther is a hight restriction - 9 meters and NO cradle work. Just the job for me in a small market town mainly houses and a few small offices/shops.
Least I can do as the chaps on this forum put me back in employing by recomending Eagle Star.

Im a 1 Man outfit, soon to employ another so i thought i must get some quotes...Best 1 at £750, so i then called my insurers and they told me to take out a policy for the employee but to do it a different way, that way being that he takes it out himself and says that i am Subbing him the work....This im afraid worries me a little bit i must say any thoughts appreciated

an employee is an employee.if he has accident he would then sue you personally if no cover.insureance company has list difining who is employee and who is not and that list just about covers everthing even down to a voluntary helper. any large contracts would ask for public / employers certificates and have found out some of national shops are asking for this cover
