Im looking to put together a WFP that best suits me and my pocket. I have decided on a trolley system, the water purification unit, even found a 1000l tank.
How though do you get water from tank to water containers?
Is it best to use Transfer pump if so where can I get one? Expensive ?
Also does anyone use either an electronic cut out for their tank or is a balcock system just as good?
I would like to fit remote control to trolley to save water , does anyone know where I can find one, oh yes and are they easy to fit?
I would appreciate any help possible to ease pain of transfering from ladder work after 15 years!

Hi,
If you set the 1000 litre tank up on blocks, you can then feed your trolley tank under gravity. With the Schutz IBC 1000 litre tanks, we take the spigot off the valve, cut off the bend, and hammer ordinary 1 1/2" solvent weld waste pipe through from the valve end of the straight bit of spigot remaining. It's a tight fit, and doesn't leak. You can then carry on from there in inexpensive solvent plumbing waste fittings. Hope this helps.
Yours, Andrew
