any advice on working a cradle? also pricing up?
-
are you insured for cradle work
have you any training on them
H & S RISK ASSESSMENT
until you can comply with above cradle work is not for you

I have heard that the insurance for cradle work has jumped to about £25,000 per year.
I dont like this work at all -never felt secure in a cradle .

We had a real problem getting cover this year, many insurers would not cover cradle or rope access work, even those recommended by the Fed.
We eventually got cover at an EXTRA premiun of nearly £5k, which makes me think that soon many companies will be running the risk of not having proper insurance cover.

;)we did cradle work, but not anymore almost impossible
to get insured, and when you do,you dont have enough work to get anywhere near the cost to get insured ???
stick to terra firma, that way you might just bang yer ed ;)
