Are you still window cleaning?

I'm still here. New name since then though.
Have you still got your swivel chair?

Still here.
Different name ;D.
Came on board when shiners were converting Harris poles to wfp...
Fishing rods being converted to mod poles.
Cannot remember who made the highest mod pole...
Anyone remember that ;)
-
Was it Jeff Brimble?
-
I've been on here since I started the business in 2007. Met Jeff Brimble a few times over the years too. Great bloke,

I was Jeff Brimble (Thimble Brimble) who got to 88 feet on some hotel clean. He could clean a window with a thimble full of water and still have enough to rinse it. ;D
Most of us oldies followed the fishing pole conversions. We also converted Bentley brushes - some worked and some didn't.
Lost count of the number of times I had to go back to the previous house as I hadn't picked up a discarded pole section.

Those tubular Ali goose necks from Gardiner's and the Bentley sweeping brush heads. And Basil The Brush was working with his Dad.

I still have one of those tubular aluminium goose necks somewhere. I tried it once on the job I envisaged using it on. Took it off and never used it again. I haven't seen it in years.

There was also Discount Window Cleaning (Mr Sol) who had a gas hot water setup, used a drill to rewind his reel and made a dogleg clutch in case the hose snagged.
