The Formula Press part of my pump has been leaking and water has got into the electrics and kept tripping my house electrics. I must have been putting too much pressure through it and it's cracked the casing and soaked the control board. Lucky I didn't have a fire in the garage. £66 is the best price I've found so far. https://www.allpumpsdirect.co.uk/Sea-Land-Formula-Press-Automatic-Pump-Controller-230v

How much psi do you get out of this pump?
It’s quite cheap if it does the job.
I’ve paid a few hundred for my last booster pumps.

It'll go over the limit of 10 bar. I've been having to choke the tap back to bring the pressure down. I think I've been giving the pump a bit too much of a hammering.

That’s pretty high pressure. :o

Would this do the same thing for £46?

Looks like it's not the pump for £66 just the auto stop start flow control. Complete booster pumps like you say are a few hundred
These are the 2 I've used over the years. One is £340 and the current one I uses is £190 but boosts pressure fine and increased flow to RO.
The CBM240e has the external auto start stop. The CBP900 has it built in so can't be bought separately.

I don't know mate. Probably best to do a straight swap and know it'll work. I've been producing without a booster, takes longer but hey ho I can live with it.
