Anyone else here do non return sewer form every six months, southern water mess it up all the time, I just found out that the the readings I give them are sent off to India to be worked out then sent back here, is it any wonder why they keep getting it wrong, I think i hate water companies more than banks now :-\

We were with Anglian water and they were good. Just send the reading as off and all calculated. Now we are with Wave as a supplier but still Anglian as the provider and it all went wrong. I have to chase and chase. I have to provide two sets of readings two weeks apart. I missed one year and they said I could not backdate it. :o

Just fit a sub meter by your garage if that’s where u fill van, when you bill comes take a reading of there meter and your sub meter give them both readings then they will issue you a credit regarding waste from your ro just tell them you put it on your garden or in ur pond as long as there happy it’s not going down the drain you will only pay for water usage I’ve saved hundreds of £££ by having a sub meter fitted it’s a no brainer

None of that with Bristol Water, told them I use the water for work in 2007 and it's not going down my drain at home, they agreed I could have a non return to sewer factored into my water bill which I have and never heard from them again.

Need to try this with Northumbrian Water. The bill has just gone up from £85 to £124. £10 is to reclaim a debt from past year. Think the RO is playing up as I'm not using that much extra water. Usually £45 a month on top of the £35 5 of us in house use.
Will ring and ask if subnet or non return to sewer is possible. Only concern is if they say it's commercial use and move us to commercial rates. But I suppose it's still half residential use so not sure if they would
