Looks interesting

Looks pretty much the same as my HD reel from Waterworks.

Never used an electric reel. I thought the Cox electric might be good. One thing that would worry me is it breaking down, so I would always want a manual reel as a back up. I only use a van mounted reel.

The reelmaster has a manual option if it breaks down, i presume other brands will too.

Except this one is stainless and is chain driven

I think the WaterWorks reels are all chain driven now also

I wonder what's the difference between chain and motor driven? I have the motor driven ones on Grippa's stainless steel reels. Glad I got stainless steel ones because they still look brand new, no rust. Yes I agree that if it breaks down then it can be a nightmare unless you have a 2 man system. Last week I could only run with one reel until I changed the other ez-snap fitting.
So another big business decision is to always go for a 2 man system. Might cost a tad more but it means when one goes down you can still make money with the other one, till it gets fixed. 😉

Mine is too....cost a lot less as well

Looks well made but a lack of roller guide to stop hose running over the side discs would concern me.

A lot of those who would be interested in purchasing an electric reel won't know this. Thanks.

I took my roller guides away because they made no point as I use my right hand to feed the hose on and the left hand to hold the button down.

That’s a game changer🤣

Hes right though, you dont need a hose guide if you are blessed with 2 hands. I dont have one on mine, if the hose goes over the side then i call myself a numpty and move on.

I disagree...a hose guide is very handy when reeling in at speed. My reelmaster is always set to 99 and it's very fast!

The new reelmaster only has 4 speed settings, I'm guessing 4 is the same as your 99, you wouldn't want to get your hand too close, it's mental. :), the hose guide as you say, is a must at speed.
