can anyone tell me how long pure lasts in a tank.
When I retired back late December I still had about 100 ltrs left in the tank, would it still be good to use?
TIA

It changes if the sunlight can get to it, that's why we use black tanks. I would just spray some into a glass and test it.

Use your tds meter if you still have one.

Why wouldn't it be ok.....it's pure and it's in a tank inside your van in Winter.....unless you put something in it it is still pure.
I keep 3 x 25 litre barrels as spare in garage and that sometimes sits there for a couple of months but still reads 0.

I use to use a backpack once every three months for a job before passing the job on when I sold some work.
The water in the backpack and a 25L barrel on a trolley sat in my garage for three months at a time.
As mentioned - don't leave water in a translucent tank in the daylight for too long.

I just ordered a new TDS meter as it's broken, mind you I've had it over 20 years

The new TDS meter turned up today so I checked the water and it's still 000, happy days

Yes, they don't build things like they used to.
