Title: Disposing of old Hypo barrels
Post by: William Bailey on October 16, 2023, 10:11:39 am
I’m sure this has been asked before but how is everyone getting rid of their hypo barrels etc?

I’ve got a lovely collection of about 30 sitting in the workshop from previous jobs and need an efficient way of getting rid of them, legally and quickly! 😂

Cheers

Unfortunately I have not been able to find a recycling option the supplier to me won’t take the drums back as they say they cannot re use them as there is no guarantee that they won’t leak all new ones are guaranteed , I take mine to the local dump ware they go to land fill , not at all happy about this but what can you do ?…

Why not rinse them out and sell them for a £1 each ?

Who to ?I have tried to give them away  No one I know would want them , but I agree I wish I could find a recycling source for them guess as an average we get through around 10-18 barrels a month
