Title: Scaffold towers
Post by: Stoots on April 19, 2023, 07:48:21 am
Not window cleaning  related really.

But hoping some may have experience of using scaffold towers

Just wondering how easy/fast are they to put up and down and move about for 1 man ?

I'm looking at getting one for a new business idea but if they are really heavy and take like and hour to put up and down its a bit pointless.

Has anyone used one before ?

Thanks

Mi tower.
Single man op.
HSS Hire have them. Around £100 for the week.
They can fit in a small van too.
Am I selling them...no!
Use them for some roof cleaning jobs.

Take a proper gander because you'll be goosed if you use faulty towers.

MiTowers are good for 1 man, but they don't go very high.

Might be worth doing your PASMA, doesn't cost to much.

He needs to read the Manuel or he will get Sybil for damaging it.

I ain't go higher than that anyway!

It'd be a Major error not to.

Much more cost effective to hire , all the paperwork and inspections are done buy them ,delivered and collected to and from site I don’t understand why anyone would buy there own unless using it every day ,

Plenty of good videos on YouTube on how to put up a scaffold tower. There’s tips and techniques, particularly useful when taking one down, to learn.

You don’t need a 6m for a 2 storey residential. Just 4.2. There’s also going to be collection and delivery charges but for a weeks hire with D + C you’re probably looking at £150.

We pay less than £80 per week including delivery and collection

It's only 18 quid delivery and collection here. Mind you I'd probably just pick it up in the van save 18 quid  :D

We couldn’t fit them in our vans but find it easier to have delivery and collected not sure what the charge is as never asked but more than happy with £80 for up to a week s use

I’ve a boss young man tower. Takes about 10mins to put up.
You will need pasma and record of inspections.
I find it’s the best way to clean dirty domestic solar panels.
Think it was about £1500
