Hi everyone, I’ve just traded in my 2006 lwb transit connect. It’s been a real workhorse for the past 7 years, carrying a 500lt tank and frame, a twin hose reel, big di bottle, brushes, 2 men, ladders and all the other paraphernalia we accumulate. The garage told me that it’s rotting underneath. Upon removing all this weight I realised how clapped out it really was. It now stands at least a foot higher and when I tried to close the rear doors again they no longer fitted properly. It seems the whole van had settled into a new shape from original. Had my money’s worth me thinks. 😂

Hehe, yeah, the Lwb connect is a great workhorse.
I had an 2004 version. It served me well.
Got myself a Transit Custom now. 2016. Very happy with it.
