I have just fitted a roof rack to this -
-
Looking at the roof, and it is floppy between the struts !!! , looks like tin foil, is this normal ? I didn't know if I was going to fit a roof rack. or wrap my sandwiches in it !!!

;D
Funny stuff, do u mean it dents in and pops back out again, but it's strong enough to stand on, ........... Have used the roof of the van to work off many a times.

Yes it does, but wouldn't dream of standing between the struts ( I would fall through ) ! I am thinking od installing a ladder on the back door, and putting a narrow walking platform of the rack to stand off ?

Also thinking the exact same, walking board on roof rack which you can walk along and ladder up the rear door.
I look on eBay an if I see anything local I will pick it up, not prepared to pay new prices
-
Get me one too, and I will pay you when you drop it off ;D

I suppose if u a bit short with a pole it's do able,
but in general If I am doing the outsides of shops/ signs anything that is about that high, did a bit of pressure washing off van roof over weekend ;D
Am good for reach on me poles I took ur advise an bought some extremes an 2 extensions, so me 47 is 59 and 35 is a lovely pole to use

i know i keep banging on about xtreme poles but they are great if your interested in reducing strain during your working day! :)

Been using the poles for 4 hours solid tonight 6-10, there is no fatigue from them what so ever,
I know if you buy new they cost a lot, anyone who aches after a days work should consider investing, there not as fragile as people make out, am as heavy handed as they come so I can't see why they won't last 2-5 years to make investment pay
