Was reeling my hose out today when it suddenly wouldn't reel out anymore. I pulled and pulled but for some unknown reason it was twisted which was really frustrating! So I disconnected it from the end thinking that this would sort it out but it didn't so through frustration and sweat I cut the twisted parts off meaning that my hose is now 80 metres instead of 100!
Any ideas why this could have happened?

One coil overlapped another I expect.

Yup. Reeling in too fast on previous job.

It (the reel) sometimes does the loop the loop too which is also frustrating!

I have a reel that has 150 m of microbore on it. Use it for a flat complex which is so big it only just reaches! So when you wind up you have to guide it very very carefully as it only just fits on the reel ! Teaches you to take your time and a real good work out! Cheers Chez
