Title: Minimum wage exempt contracts?
Post by: Dean Taberner on April 13, 2014, 06:46:42 pm
I'm thinking about emailing my local MP to put this forward to Parliament to fit in nicely with the zero hour contracts that are already legal.

Basically what happens is new employees sign a contract that says they're happy to work for less than the minimum wage.

I think it would be a massive step forward for our industry, especially with our target market for employees being so bleak.

What are other peoples thoughts on this?

Dean.

I already earn less than minimum wage.
I didn't need to sign anything.
Just don't go to work and it's worked out fine.
If I want even less money, I just take the afternoon off.
Simples.
