Hi guys.
We have a little one on the way and would like to get a 4x4 pick up truck like navara or l200. Does anyone use one, is it big enough, practical, what size tank do you use, etc?
Would love your thoughts if anyone uses one
-
Also do you tie your tank down or fix to the chassis?

There are around ten million threads in this subject, here is all you need to know-
Anything up to 600 litre tank.
Be aware of max weight over rear axle.
Those that have them, love them.
Everyone else thinks they are either pikey, too small, too thirsty, will be nicked for ram raiding or you may even go to hell if you buy one.
I think they are great for wfp but could limit you if you expand and can't get home to refill with water.

Thanks for your feedback

Look on page 2 their is a post 4 pages long .
I have used an L200 Trojan for 30 months and would not have a van , we dont have kids but it would work really well for you with a baby on the way . Mike

What truck?
How does it look, rear arches? Ridiculous or just low?

He has got to be overloaded surely . Mike

I had a 650 2 man set up in a ranger. The tank was custom made. It all only just fitted and I do miss it but have to say working from a van is far more practical and faster plus you can easily fit more stuff in.
Simon.
