We all have bills to pay every month, so what do you do when it rains? Of course, side ways rain is no joke but how many times has a customer said to you, " not today, it looks like it is going to rain. I dont want them getting all dirty again".... that is one house down, what are the others going to say? Have you trained your customers way of thinking and managed their expectations or do you go home with no money that day?

i work in all bad weather apart from really strong winds and heavy rain.my customers are used to it or they are out when i clean so dont know anyway.
occasionally i get a customer who doesnt want them cleaning.what i do is just miss them out until next time their due.that way you get most of your work cleaned and earn your money.it only happens a few times a year though so still quid in.

As others have said - light / mediun rain yes.
If it's too wet, I have no desire to get soaked and have a soaking wet van seat and cab, so heavy rain and I don't clean.

Sorry Lee.
Your video is probably very good but after 50 seconds of intro I was bored so turned it off.
Its toooooooooooooo long pal.

I clean in heavy rain. Don't bother on sunny days though.

Any chance of a video similar to this one that I could nick for my website? More customer facing than window cleaner facing if you see what I mean??

Problem with that video is you are telling people rain water is pure just like what we use , Custys will be rain water harvesting and clean their windows with a pressure washer ;D ;D ;D .
I was pretty sure rain water had a TDS higher than 000ppm i thought it was about 017ppm . Mike

One day last week I packed up early and went home because of extremely heavy rain.
I can count on one hand the amount of days the weather stopped me working last year

That is good.... but rainy days do come. Even if rain never falls it can cause loss of business. We do this chippy every two weeks, they used to say the same until I offered a rain guarantee. Now they never say anything and I get t keep the money even if it looks like rain ;D
