Title: Brass or Nylon?

Hi....I need to replace my Y connector at the brush because it split, I'm thinking of replacing with a brass one, are there any downsides in using brass?

No downside using brass that I can think of.
Although I stopped using nylon or brass Y connectors and now only use the JG style push fit type.

A brass wearing nylons down here don't come cheap lol,sorry mate couldn't resist it
