I e recently went away from the extreme. Not enough scrubbing power.

I now use gardiners super lite soft flocked brush. Fantastic scrubbing power. Gets rid of all dirt very easily.

Bought one to use on flaky painted windows and have to say has been superb. Notice the difference in weight when going back to the sill brush!! Also very good on painted Georgian windows also had no problems rinsing on.

I use the soft/blue version (black bristles)

its a great brush, so this should be good as well.

TBH i am using the sill brush as much as possible.

Its quicker to clean with as more bristles :)

Thanks

This brush has only just gone on sale today (it is fairly similar to its sister the Xtreme Medium Mixed which has been around for a while).

There is a video on YouTube from one of our testers - http://youtu.be/TeQiuEbRRY8 +  http://youtu.be/slp5CoBiTlc

i love extreme brushes because they are so light!they are not the best at scrubbing or for lasting longer than 3 or 4 months but i can live with that due to ease of use.

coupled with a carbon gooseneck,AD XLMK3 and extreme 25 they are awesome for maintenance cleans.

i use the extreme stiff DT versions as i use hot water.the scrubbing ability is not an issue due to hot water dissolving the dirt quicker anyway.

Well a 'Stiff Xtreme brush' is made of nylon and has a relatively boring personality - on the other hand I am not made of nylon and my wife thinks I have a passable personality  :)

I love my extreme brushes and have from early days, but been working on the standard superlite range and im surprised and forgot how the bigger footprint was and with new styles one as come out on top and its not one I would have picked from the start a lot less scrubbing needed, I think I shall keep one on my 18ft and keep extremes on bigger poles,

not really helpful Alex, are you?  ;) let me ask again: what is the difference between the stiff brush and the new brush?

My apologies Ben and thank you for clarifying the question  ;D

The new brush is based on the medium mixed so the outer bristles are medium stiffness rather than stiff.
