I've had dealings with Vyair in the past.
I can't say a bad word against them and their customer service is excellent.

Are you leaving the van at home?  ;D

If so then always ensure you switch your pump on before you leave.  ;D

Just deleted my original post as I got the pure to waste the wrong way round.

I have a 4040 with 10inch sediment and 2 10inch jumbos with carbon filters. I have a 25 litre vessel with softner resin before sediment.

Tds in 480 @45psi out at 13 then through Di.  Pure 1.2 a min- waste 2 litres a min

but i have to back flush the softner vessel about every 6-8hrs

I have but I have to get a booster as the water pressure is too low at the unit.

The softner is a 23 litre di vessel full of softening resin, then i have a 10 inch jumbo housing with a insert that I fill with salt then backflush it through the resin for about 6 mins. Cost me about £140. The granular salt costs me £7 for 25kg and lasts nearly a month.

That's not expensive! After your intial outlay it's £7.50 a month, the softening resin lasts for a good few years and it saves my membrane and my polishing resin?  It's a must for me with an input tds 480
