After reading that thread, I'm convinced that if electricity and gas were cut off in the country, after three weeks, more than half the population would have died waiting for someone to sort the problem out.
Why did one of those mongs try to correct Matt Bateman and then spell mistakes as "misteaks"?? Time to trim the herd, me thinks.
Another point that needs making is, I heard on some motivational vid at some time, that only one percent of people actually put businesses together and the other ninety nine percent then have the job they need to pay their bills. So if anyone thinks a window cleaner is thick, they need to remember who is working for themselves through their own initiative, and who needs someone else to provide them with an income / job.
Good posts in there Matt ;D

Lol.
Just this evening I was referred to as 'just' a window cleaner.
They said, 'I'd never do that' I would get a 'proper' job. And implied that it was only what I did because I was too stupid to do anything else.
I didn't reply. Just smiled to myself.
As the evening went on. It came out (not from me) what I was qualified to do.
Fella looks surprised.
Asks me why I don't do it now.
I said I couldn't live the life I lead now on those wages.
Funny, he didn't look down on me as much when he saw me get into the car.
And he doesn't know that tomorrow, I'm having the day off.
Just because I want to.
Didn't have to ask anyone.
Not got a set amount of holiday days etc etc.
Winter's never fun.
But at this moment in time.
I wouldn't change my job.
