Are they gortex?

If they are full grain leather smear G wax all over them like butter, then use a heat gun or hair dryer to melt the wax into the leather. My old boots are just ordinary steelies, but treated as above they have kept my feet bone dry for two winters, now going into their third. These cost under £20 from a local workware store and are called Black rock boots.

I have tried all kinds of boots under the sun that you can wear over the years, but none of them has come as close as these, I have even jet washed a customer patio with these and still done well.
They are absolutely amazing boots.
