Hope they are not them deadly False Widow spiders that have started to invade the U.K.
I wonder when the first shiner will get bitten. :o
-
Yes I know they are not deadly but still wouldn't like to be cleaning windows in
the Sutton area.
-
I'm totally sick of 'em!! Some houses it's taking as long to clear the webs, nests etc than to clean the glass!!
The stuff's like bloody super-glue too, brush constantly caked in slimy, sticky mess!! >:( >:(
-
yeah there a nightmare those one that cocoon themselves in the corner of the glass no way of removing them other than heavy handed using fingers, October seems to be the worst time of year for them spiders from mars. Yuk...
-
I like the way they abseil down the window to escape the brush!
-
First day at work tomorrow this week, not got out of bed since Sunday ;D
-
I've been bitten by one of these, there find if your a fit adult, just had a bit of heat on my leg for a few days, if it bit a baby or a old person, it could be a diff story though

Cant believe there is not more talk about these I wonder if you had got 2 or 3 bites would it have made a difference
I see a few people have ended up in hospital.
After all its a close relative of the black widow spider.

Generally it's because there immune system isn't that good, I was working in a&e UNTILL this year, it's the same if you get an adder bite, it won't kill the average person, but young and old and poop immune system it will affect

Along with the larger than usual numbers of spiders is crane flies, either alive or dead sitting there on the wndow sill wrapped up in spider thread.
-
I thought it was just the crap houses I was on yesterday… Millions of little spun nests.. grrrr
-
i taut u were goin to say new custies!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
-
We've had those for as long as I can remember here. Most are dark brown with that pattern on their backs. Same reaction as with the other spiders, they run off or abseil down to get away from you.
I always try to avoid killing spiders, cuz I'm a softie really :-[

using hot soon sorts them nests out . like melting butter.....
