Remember the guy Jeff Temperley, the British window cleaner who sold his window cleaning business in the UK to start one and a new life in Florida, well, we made a short film called Window Cleaning in the Redneck Riviera. It has been released for viewing as from today. So if you are rained off, make your self a cup of tea and settle down to some entertainment. WARNING: Contains swearing in the film.

You will hopefully find it entertaining and very informative. Keep a look out for the 'black powder gun' toward the end of the film when we go shooting in the woods after a hard days window cleaning....

Great movie.
I was in Florida last week on holiday, and hardly saw any window cleaners not alone water fed pole window cleaners, there is of course Fish Window cleaners who are big franchisee all over U.S. and when I asked the locals about it, they said in Florida, they get lots of sun shine most of the year and there is no need of window cleaning perhaps every six months or a yearly bases, and there was lots these posh houses but far in between, so you need lots of travelling and lots of customers to be able to expand, I THINK ?

What sold the business in Florida to a local guy or he in England ?
No Danny he sold his Brit window cleaning business before he started the one up in Florida. Actually he would of needed the money for the visa process :)

He is with Dave currently but will be renting a house for his family very soon :)

True and the trend in the US is yearly or twice per year cycle. Also if you get the compounds or gated communities all the multi million dollar properties are all in one spot :)

Was pretty impressive. Would have liked to have seen how it actually all hooks up and a demo of the reel going out the side.
Wiring could have been a bit neater lol.

Actually he did mention off camera that they could of done the wiring better. I think Jeff has plans to sell the system he has made at a later date so maybe a new video would be on the cards :)

I have been spending a bit of time with X-Line recently... Andy is helping us put together our new online store WindowCleaningSupplyStore ( WCSS) hoping to get some great deals for window cleaners.... plus all the money goes into running the magazine instead of out of my pocket lol 18 months I have been doing that for..... still happy to pay but would nice to address the balance at some point but Im not in any rush :)
