Just bought a 2nd hand baffled tank, installed it using ptfe around the joint to the hose but its still slighty leaking! Any ideas what I can seal it with?

Is it metal to metal thread? Is it tight enough? With what clips have you tightened hose on?
Shouldn't leak really if hoses and threads are tight. You could try silicon sealant on a metal thread, only a little. Jubilee clips for the hose, as sometimes, those o clips don't seem to do the job.

Bathroom sealant

They make a liquid ptfe now. Go to a plumbers merchant.

Tried quite a lot of ptfe tape, but seems still to be leaking a little! All threads are tight but not over tight. Goin to try a plumbers sealant that I've seen, says its for metal and compression threads.
Any idea where I can get a lid rubber washer from??

Do you know what size the lid is, i have quite a few different sized lids that i have *****ed up cutting about. So have few washers.
If not good old plastic bag on screw thread then do lid up ;)
