PU pole hose is great - if you like it! It is well suited to hot water and lots of abuse.

This is different from meaning that everyone will like how it works.

You will really have to try various types and see what suits your set-up, water temperature range and working method the best.

If you are really stuck and have decided than none of the hot water pole hoses are suited to your preference then you can always try using 6mm ID Microbore up the pole as this would withstand hot water.

the new yellow pole hose PVC/rubber is very good actually but not good for hot water i suppose.

I use A/D orange pu hose, its good with hot and i dont have a problem with it with cold.
If you use a hose like the old clear hose , with hot, it turns to jelly and is absolute poope
