Check on gardiners website they have a resin cost calculator

Yes it will be fine but use 2 di vessels to save resin.

usually below about 100 tds is considered low, but there are people who would still say use RO even down to 50 TDS.
If you've got good pressure, then RO will take your TDS down to nearly zero which will obviously be cheaper than resin, BUT the advantage of resin only is that you can fill your tank super fast.
Personally I'd use resin at first, see how you get on. If you find its costing too much, go RO.

Whether or not it makes financial sense depends on the volume of water you use. At 70 I'd think that you'd need to be using around 1000l or more per week before it would be worth investing in an RO, that is just a rough estimate based on double DI and you having a water meter.

Stick to twin DI mate. You will save on your water bill and you won't need a storage tank etc. I use 25l of resin every 2 months and i use 350l of water a day
