Post by: Seers on August 21, 2013, 08:43:35 pm
Hi,

A client of ours is requesting that we seal a large amount of render post clean.

Sealing is not something we've done before so will could anyone with experience/information on this please help us out, before I trawl the internet for a solution.

Or email huw@seerssupportservices.co.uk

Kind Regards,

Huw

Why does he want it sealing ? To prevent what happening?
Fluoropolymer ...but you could never paint it again.

I'm thinking that they are under the impression that sealing it would keep it clean forever

Usually we would just clean and possible spray algae inhibitor on to prolong the next clean.

Cheers,

Huw,

I don't see how you could seal K render as it is so porous it looks like a lot of potential trouble.

I have been asked the same thing many times as well, but I say the same as you.
