I double DI, have done for years. I'm not sure you are getting 15x more. If previously one would last 3 weeks 15 times more would be 45 weeks worth at the same rate.

I've been twine DI for 8 months and use about 300 litres a week only do maximum 2 days a week .
25 litres has lasted me this long you just have to rotate the vessels when your tds goes above what ever you change at .

I twinned mine with a nice, little DI vessel in France.
It doesn't do much for water production but we get some lovely photos and plan to exchange visits, soon.

How do you guys connect them up?
In line or split the flow 50/50

has anyone twin DI'd an RO.

my RO put out around 5ppm maybe higher or lower at times, but thought could do the twin DI when my 11l DI ppm rises.
i don't want to add too much resistance to the pure output though as it may force more water threw the waste.
has any one tried it.

twin di after RO is what I thought we were talking about have done this for years.

are you meaning twin ro's ?

no thats right 1 RO to 2 DI's.  i am using a single 11L at the moment.

i didn't know if it would add too much resistance to the pure out of the RO, meaning the waste would be the easier root.

I thought he was talking about just DI only ???

he was, i asked a seperate question.

every one know about twin DI's for water production now, but i wan't to know if it will effect the RO output.

The link does not work.

Am I being stupid here, coz i cant see any benefit from doing this.
If the water coming out of the first DI is 000 what purpose does a second vessel serve?
Surely the first DI is doing all the work so therefore you will be changing the resin just as often and saving nothing?

the first DI is partially used up, out put above 000ppm, the second DI is new output at 000ppm.

as long as the first DI out is lower than your tap water it partially cleans the water, meaning the second DI does less work.
making the new resin last longer.

It works on my phone. If your DI gets to 10 you discard it. If you have a second DI as the first creeps up the second one is polishing it and being expended less than if it was tap water.

你明白吗

Your tap tds is 240 and you dont use a ro before the di? My tap water is close to yours about 250. How many litres of water do you use a week?

Only about 300 litres as only do maximum 1.5 to 2 days per week .

Lol if your using that amount then there's  only RO lol .
I just use DI as its quicker for me to produce the water I need .
