percentage wise the best I got was a £15tip from a £10job.
Did over 10% of my day's take in tips on Friday.
I always put them to one side and have a good drink the day after the last day at work before christmas. Essentially free beer!

£60.00 from 1 customer springs to mind (couple years back) (football club chairman)
On average, we tend to get about £300 each year, but must admit this year I think we will fall short of that.
Mind you, I could'nt care less about the money, the 2 customers that gave me a crate of carling and 2 bottles of home made cider I prefere ;D
-
best one to date is half a lamb
Me, too. The customer said you can have the other half but it'll have to be an IO-ewe.

Had a great big hug from a lady last week, brought a tear to my eye as it was so sincere, she then handed me £25 instead of the £15 I charge and I had to make a quick exit. Proper caught me off guard.
-
Best tip you'll ever get
Not to eat yellow snow
-
Never expect a tip but nice when you get one.
Putting mine to 1 side to pay for christmas booze / treats
The ones with the least give the most ......... done a few big houses yesterday and got £zero ... moved onto some little council house jobs and got £4 ... £5 ... £5.
-
We usually get around the £400 - £500 mark.
Last year we had 3 different customers tip £30 each :o
Biggest so far this year is £23
We use ours for a boozy night out just before Christmas, this year it will be used in Brixton as we go off to see The Prodigy 8)
We sort of expect it really but i know we shouldnt, after 7 years and its been the same every year its hard not to expect it!!
-
£16 tip from from a £16 job. She just sent £32 cheque in the post and said have a drink on me.
-
Best tip I got was "put a heater in the van overnight to stop it freezing"
-
We did a whole load of terraced houses today; ex council house, owned by elderly Baby Boomers. We always get a lot of tips here, including three bottles of wine today. Wor Lass doesn't drink and I can't drink; we've shed loads of booze in the house.
I might give it to the postman; he's likes to drink a lot; an awful lot! ;D
-
My best tip this yr was .
" you should get a real job mate "
