Hi lads,
Whats the best way to aproach shop owners and high street stores to get them to let you clean there fronts. Is it just basically going into store and asking to speek to store manager, then introduce yourself, then give him a price for cleaning fronts etc.

stick to houses most shops are sewn up. and are pain in the ass when u have to be there at a time they say.

The best way to get a shop front is charge 4x the going rate 6x a year that way if you get it its worth it if you don't its even better, honestly stick to houses

Dont think i have ever read so much pony. True,a lot of national chains are being cleaned by the £4 to £5 boys, but the high street is not just made up of these. There are many independant shops that the nationals will never get. You need to ask these shops uf they have a windy. Some will and be happy with them and some may not. Just have to ask.

I do a small chemist's shop in the centre of my town. The owner phoned out of the blue to offer me the job. I have no idea who she got my number from, but it's a nice, easy little number.
I don't do any other shops in town as I am sure they are already taken and I am not one to knowingly step on anyone else's toes. Were I inclined to canvass them I would just go in, ask to speak to the manager and ask if they needed my services.

they are a bit of a nightmare.i'm not looking for them because the competition is high and prices are very low.until the current window cleaner retire it's no point trying to approach them .where i am the prices are £3-4for a shop front ,sometimes even insides included.for me it's way to low .

I got sick of doing pound shops, so canvassed a 99p store and got it
Soon I will be doing them for nothing
-
Ah yes Dave , but you landed 400 of them nationwide and told the man at the bottom that the price was 49p , they all went for it and now you have 400 50p pieces a week for nowt !
Wish i got £200 a week for sending off chits ;D
