Title: Water Butts
Post by: Tony Edwards on September 09, 2012, 04:03:46 pm

Since they are cheaper than a static tank in your garden or garage, are they suitable for storing pure water after filtration ?

Wickes does 500L for £99.99. A tank would cost you around £160.00 for the same capacity

I got these from ebay, they were used to import olives. sold completely cleaned out.
I think they were about £60 delivered for the 3. the more you buy the cheaper they are I think.

Used IBC's can be had for a tenner if you don't mind cleaning them out and they hold a 1,000 litres.
