anyone recommend a stop tap that I can fit on my pressure washing solution line, I already have one fitted but its as stiff as hell. I want an almost a soft touch tap that will move with ease, so i can switch lances without turning off the machine
Ive tried all sorts but they all are really stiff when under pressure

Thinking along these lines last night and the night before.
Been working in Derby, on a store, drain jetting the car park slot drains, 1000 metres and a heckuva lot of tidying up, a great deal of switching from jetting to pressure washing.
The Hot & Mighty has to be switched off, the pressure released and then switched on again, every time we switched between the two.
On my other jetter there is a slider on the side of the engine that takes the pressure off the hose and makes it easier to mess around.
What about the unloader to full return to tank!!!!????
It must be a really easy fix to fit something, that kills the flow, all of my lances are quick release on the nozzle end, similar lines!!

Actually after posting I remembered I do have something that was fitted as an extra and never thought about using it over the last two nights.
I have a second dump lever fitted, for solo operations it takes the flow, if not required, back to the tank and when this is switched to fully return to tank it takes the pressure off the pressure washing hose.
This is also a stiff lever but I guess it would be with 3000PSI coming at it!!!

I have one of these fitted at the end, then just cut of the flow then switch lances but it is a bit stiff

We just have spigots on lances which is after trigger, don't have to turn PW off, only when changing to a Whirlaway we do but can just connect straight to a Mosmatic as they have male spigots.

Same as Lee Blastaway but also have spigot fitting on my small fsc - wall float - only have to switch off when changing to my bigger fsc

Something I've thought of that I haven't got around to doing is taking the trigger off of whirlaway, attach a piece of metal plate roughly 3'' length by 1 1/2'' with holes drilled. Larger hole to slot over handle bar and tack weld to keep in place and a smaller hole to allow HP hose from whirlaway head to go through then a dowty and male spigot.
