Hi can anyone give us some advise please i clean this golf club every 5 weeks and have done for around 4yrs now.. 70% of the job is water fed due to the working heights off the building with gardiners soft brushes but some new hi flying (chairman) boss man there had me the otherday moaning that hes not happy with the clean.. At around 25ft there are small green spots been left on the glass and my brushes are not removing them!!! there very hard to see from the ground and when the glass is wet but plane to see when im stood in the bar area upstairs..

The glass could be weathered ???

The marks come off with a scrim if i lean out of the window and put pressure on them... guessing the spots are from near by trees blowing leaves on the glass.

Wet the glass, use a scraper on the end of the pole and then wfp to finish?
Or try a mono brush.

Must be off the trees, apply a little more pressure on the glazing and go over a couple of times, then check to see if this has removed it. :)

done the gardiner mono stiffy but still no joy lol.. put an old store card the the brush head to scrape it but you cant really see the marks when its wet...
Thought about going over the glass first with a t-bar and a heavy applicator sleeve??

Well if you have exhausted all usual possibilities there's only one alternative.....
get yourself a pet spider monkey and train it up on how to use a scrim with vigour.
Obviously it will not need any climbing training as this will be second nature.
Take him with you next time the clean is due and let him do his stuff. 8)
Also I believe spider monkeys are exempt from the minimum wage regulations.

a 4 inch unger scraper on an extension pole is what i use for really stubborn marks if using a ladder is out of the question.wet the glass and give it a good scrape.job done.

Hot water would probably lift it right off.

yeah i always use the 4" unger but didnt wanna do every window this way if i can help it because it will stick 1 hour on my day..
Hot water would do the trick but dont have the luxury :-[

the marks are probabley insect dropings i do a cony thats the same there arent any trees just a load of plant pots its funny cause its the only house that i get any insect marks ???

lol insects could be i guess... the glass sheets are about 4ft by 10ft all the way round the building so they stand out really bad even one or two :-[ now this new guys gunning for me i just no it!!!!!

What I would try first would be a doodlebug preferably on a separate pole.
Use the thinner white pad (gives more pressure on the glass) with a soap of your choice.
Firstly wet with wfp, scrub with doodlebug, then rinse wfp.

why not try cleaning the window with a proper brush , not a make up brush .

You`re not drinking enough :P.
You could try a stiffer brush and maybe a bit of detergent.
