I have been doing this for two years now and only today realised that the thumb on my right hand has developed a thick pad on the inside, down near the hand. My beautiful hand is now deformed!
Anyone else's the same or is it just my lousy technique?

I've got two. One where yours is & one on the inside of the thumb knuckle. I cut it off with nail clippers! ;)

yep both thumbs at the base.

wonder if i wore gloves, would that cure it.

Are we all non-glove wearers posting here? :-\
