May possibly have my first "proper" commercial job in the bag ;D ... find out next week but looking very good.
So now need bigger pole ?
Currently use Gardiners CLX poles but 27ft is longest I have. (glass and carbon mix)
Who uses what and what would you suggest ?
Guessing will need to be pure carbon fibre at this height ??
Your thoughts and experiances appreciated :D

Defo go carbon at that height always comes down to the same thing..how much dosh do you want to spend? I beleive the supermax range are a pretty good price now.
-
Id be tempted to go for a sl2,
Im waiting to get a big job to justify buying one, at the minute i dont have enogh work for it so just use cheap heavy pole!
-
I have one sean they are great poles a tip for you..lie the disgarded sections down on windy days otherwise they will blow over and chip or crack.
-
Xtreme 48. ;)
-
get a good old metal one for strength ;D

I have an SL2 at that height and it is the best pole for long stretches of windows, but it is a bit fiddly to use. The best pole overall at that height would be the slx xtreme, fast to extend and very nearly as light and as rigid as the SL2. If the contract is worth it I'd buy the xtreme, if you do you'll find it hard to use the clx again.

Gardiners Super Max is great value for money. Had our SMAX 40 over a year now, and it's a pleasure to use at 4-5 floors for what I would class as medium sized commercial work.
If I had a massive run of 40+ ft work, I would invest in a Super Lie Extreme or a Super Lite 2 modular. There are some drawbacks with modulars, but wow...unbelievably light.

Definately the xtreme 48. You can use it as it is and also add extra sections as necessary when you get higher work.
A lot better than the supermax. so light and easy to control.
