What do you do when you do to a customer's house and you see their carpet is moulded. Do you try to clean it or you just tell them to throw it away?
-
Vallery, not sure I understand - do you mean if a customers carpet has mold on it?
-
That's what I mean and it is my mistake cause I didn't explain it right. I mean when you go into a customer's house and the carpet you have to clean has a lot of mould. Will you do your best to remove the mold, or you will tell them there's no point to do it.
-
It depends - I suppose you have to manage their expectations. If its natural fibre then there's a good chance that the mold would have eaten away at the fibres causing damage. Of course, its also important to advise them to treat the cause of the mold as well.

I always advise people to react before it's too late, but sometimes the situation can be hopeless. But it happened to me once when I had to clean the house of one nice lady and the carpet was in really bad condition, so I knew that there was no way to save it, but she was so sad about her beautiful carpet, that it made me tell her I will do my best.

Hey Vallery! Great job. You try every means to clean and offer quality results. Your customes call upon you for that purpose and they somehow trust you to do your part.

Well just when you think you heard it. I didn't think it was possible to get mold out of carpet. Is there a special machine or cleaner that is used to get mold out of carpet? I would like to know what questions to ask if I ever need this service on the future.

Thanks Justine, my customers are really important for me and I always to my best. That means a lot for me. And yes, sometimes you can get the mould out of the carpet, if you use the right products and devices. :)
