Slx xtreme or just slx with the extreme brush on the end, you won't believe the difference from a vikan oval.  The slx range is almost constantly out of stock, a bit like iPads or iPhones or anything else really cool and good. As soon as they come in they sell out.

Araldite is good but I doubt you will have any problems, I got 2 poles just over a month ago and I don't think I could remove the clamps even if I wanted.

i mlooking 4 22ft or 25 ft carbon fibre pole what is the best one  u use guys? and the brush? at the moment im using vikan oval with clx 22ft
For carbon fibre poles that lenght there is only two choices to consider either Gardiners SLX range or the Waterfed pole companys elite range. As for brushes, either gardiners superlite/extreme brushes or the teckbuck brush.

Yeah mate, i have some facelift poles. Problem i have with the facelift  poles is that the clamps ,i've found, break very easily. As in snap and you need a new one and they're about £13 a pop plus postage. Then you have to hacksack very carefully around the edge of the broken one, or you can just saw through and lose a few inches of pole. Bought a few of them in the last twelve months. You have to get the from Cleaning warehouse now as they bought all Facelifts stock and presumabley the trading name of Facelift, as they are no more.

best place for glue for Gardiners poles clamps is Polarbrite, ask for Craig he's a top chap, just tell him what you need it for an he'll sort you out.

yeah, i wouldn't knock the facelift carbon pole i'm sure its great for you. But i couldn't see a good reason to buy one now when its heavier and almost double the price of the slx and elite poles and thats why i wouldn;t put them forward as a contender for a which pole is best scenario.

the elite pole clamps are fastened on with 2 nuts and bolts which means no glue failure which is a big bonus,   no good having a spinning pole also takes away the messing about of gluing clamps and the cost of buying glue , this is one of the reasons i will buy another ELITE  pole in the future

i had a 5 section facelift carbon fibre 25ft, wouldnt recommend, the clamps are too big which makes the closed length too long, there not that light, however they are really well made and will last a very long time, price is a let down there just too expensive

All i can tell you is that when i had to contact them to have a backpack returned, it came from WCW, and when i ring the Facelift number for replacement clamps WCW in Wales answer the phone. They have bought all Facelift stock, i only know this because they told me. Don't know anymore details than that.
