I just happen to have a new boxed wallpaper stripper in the shed ;D ;D

The large attachment on a wallpaper stripper allows you to heat several pices at once it is handy if you have a lot of gum to remove.
The size of the tank also give you a longer working time between fills.

Is there much pressure with that Geoff?
I think its sold as vertical steamer for clothes - adverts on telly perhaps dont show its true performance, but it doesnt look all that powerful. Maybe it is.

Don't they use them to iron clothes whilst there
still on there hangars.

Hi Joe, gave a try this morning, no not a lot of pressure but plenty of ( extremely hot ) steam, and it did run for 15 / 20mins or so. I would imagine that its plenty to soften a piece of gum so you can scrape it off and wipe off any residue with a towel and solvent spotter. No gum about here unfortunatly ( or is that fortunatly ? ) so will take it out with me this week and hopefully get to try it. Nothing to lose except a fiver!
Just as an experiment I washed the lounge curtains and hung them straight up, set the tobi on them and the creases just fell out! I`m in the wifes good books at least !!
