I`ve noticed my tds has been creeping up slowly. I`m RO only, as out of the tap the tds is usually 70 plus.
But I`ve checked the tds out of the tap and it`s now reading 120.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this and what could be the reason for it?

I'd say it is because the water table is getting lower and as we use water from lower down, the tds is higher!

blame the water board, my water use to be 35 now it is 90

Thanks Tony and Darren, I was thinking it could be that.
Had a quick look at Utd Utilities site and it mentioned reservoir levels are only 70+ %.
I think I`ll just grin and bear it; I don`t want to buy a DI as a short term measure....just yet anyway. If I do it`ll start to rain ::).
Thanks again.

In west Lancashire our water has gone from around 70-100 to over 230! Having to change resin (I'm DI) about every 5 days. I've heard mixed reports some saying it's due to extra chlorine being added to the water or different reservoirs being used due to long periods of no rain. Don't know if any of what I've heard's right though. Water level going down sounds like it makes sense. A right pain in the bum though! I didn't realize why my windows were leaving streaks/spots the last few months until a few weeks ago.
