Steve,

I'll admit to using the Sebo for domestics.

I have a Victor D9 (tub vac) with electric brush-head, which does a superior job, but takes up more valuable van-space.

Kirbys are great vacs and very powerful, but forget the ancillary carpet shampoo attachments. If used purely as a pre vac then I think it's hard to beat.

Forgot to mention, Great vacuum, but over priced!

You may get a good deal on a second hand one though.

Try Anderson Elecrical in Derby they deliver country wide and have Sebos for under £200 at the moment(I don't know what model) 01332 343121 They have a full range  of nearly everything for cljeaners.

Vorwerk , excellent machines and in my opinion as good as a Kirby but cheaper and easier to use.
