mine would be:
james Cagney
Richard branson
My Grandad
Mr Bean
Michael Winner.
its harder than you think

Mike,
Yes, it is surprisingly hard.
I would have:
Joanna Lumley (love that voice)
David Belamy (never mind the voice)
Prof. Robert Winston
John Cleese
My younger daughter (who would stop conversation getting too heavy)
John.Posted by Scots_cleaner (Scots_cleaner), 13 March 2004

Hi Mike
Mine would be
Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac) in the words of 10cc I’m in love
Todd Carty (East enders what a gent)
Mother in law
Richard Branson
The Cook (wife)
Sham you didn’t extend it to six or seven one of them would have been you.
Barry not being a football person which British club won the UEFA Cup? No joke; if it’s Arsenal or Man U I don’t want a reply, as I have to listen to my wife and brother-in-law every Sunday lunchtime in the working mans club, if it’s another that would make my day.

Hi Mike,
You're right it's not easy but here goes:-
Alan Whicker
Rachel De Thame (ask my wife )
Chris Beardshaw (the BBC flying gardener - if a ****** gardener can get to fly round in a helicopter and get paid for it he can tell the secret to operating the first Helicopter Mount in the UK )
John Brown ( deceased leader of the labour party - I wouldn't say I particularly support labours views but that chap had real charisma - I reckon he would have been a damm good PM).
MY WIFE - if Rachel's coming there's no way my wife will let me out without a chaperone!!!!

After much thought, I'd like to make the evenings conversation as interesting and heated as possible. So I'd have:
Bernard Manning
Naomi Campbell
Enoch Powell
Claire Short
Bob Geldof
Just light the touch paper and take a few steps back
Safe and happy eating cleaning
